We agree code ownership, repository access, hosting accounts and third-party licences in the project contract. Ask the proposal to identify what is handed over, which services remain with a third party and who is responsible for recurring charges. These decisions belong before development starts.
Define acceptance through tasks a person can complete and outcomes your team can check. For a booking flow, that could include valid availability, a recorded request and a clear confirmation or error message. The agreed test scope covers the relevant devices, access rules and integrations, with a named person approving the release.
Maintenance can cover agreed fixes, dependency updates, monitoring or further development.
